834 verified miles and a 17.6 mph top speed logged on this wheel, all of it filmed. Dual tires and a low deck make it much easier to balance than a single-tire wheel, which is why it is the one I point beginners at. It is not fast and it is not a long-range wheel. That is the trade.

I ride one of these, the E20. The rest I am describing from published specs, not from experience.
Start here if you have never ridden one. Dual tires do a lot of the balancing for you, and it is slow on purpose. The one I ride.
Get this one if you will be carrying it up stairs or onto a train about as often as you ride it. Lightest here at 27.6 lbs.
The step up to real distance. Suspension, 37 miles, 28 mph, GPS. This is a commuter, not a learner wheel.
Top of the range and priced like it. 120 km, suspension, alarm, touchscreen. Only worth it if you already know you are committed.
The rest of what I use
This is the whole setup. A phone, a strap to hold it, a cheap helmet and a small computer to cut the footage on. You do not need more than this to start.
Every journey on this channel is filmed on this phone. No gimbal, no action cam. Amazon only lists it renewed now, since Apple has moved on.
What the phone rides in. This is the answer to the question I get most: the camera is strapped to my chest, not held or helmet-mounted.
Closest match on Amazon to mine. I wear a plain grey Schwinn from Target, about 25 dollars. Any certified helmet does the job, and you should wear one.
Where the footage gets cut. Nothing about this workflow needs a big machine, and this one handles 4K without complaint.
